Privacy Policy

The short version

Your symptom data never leaves your device. Flarewise has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. We do not sell, share, or transmit your health data. Ever.

What data Flarewise collects

On your device (local only):

• Symptom logs you create (symptom name, timestamp, optional severity, optional note)
• Context entries you log (e.g. sleep quality, caffeine, alcohol)
• Medication / HRT records you enter
• Your symptom selection and app settings

All of this is stored in a SQLite database on your device using expo-sqlite. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

What Flarewise does NOT collect

• No account or email address is required to use the app
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs are included
• No advertising identifiers or tracking
• No location data
• No contacts, camera, or microphone access

Notifications

If you opt in to the daily check-in reminder, a local notification is scheduled on your device. No notification content is sent to or logged by Flarewise servers.

PDF reports

The doctor-visit PDF is generated entirely on your device and shared via your device's native share sheet. Flarewise never receives a copy.

Your controls

• Export: Settings → Export everything (JSON) or Export logs (CSV) — your complete data, on demand
• Delete: Settings → Delete all logged data — permanently and immediately wipes all logs, context entries, and medication records from your device
• Notifications: Settings → Daily check-in — turn off at any time

Subscription payments

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), not by Flarewise. Their privacy policies govern payment data. Flarewise never receives your card details.

Children

Flarewise is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we ever make material changes, we will update the date above and note it in the App Store release notes. The core commitment — your data stays on your device and is never sold — will not change.
